He believed that he was the son of "God"... superior in his aspect, with all rights and characteristics due to divinity… until "God" was killed in front of him. 

​

Framed for the murder, he is banished to the dreaded SHADOW ZONE… The "Hell" otherwise known as New York City. There he is forced to confront the truth of his existence and fight for his survival against the hordes of "The Fallen"...  and for the chance to return home...

PHOEBE

Phoebe, a brilliant but foul-mouthed 12-year-old, became an orphan when a bizarre explosion killed her parents.

 

Since the accident, she has been living hidden in the basement of an abandoned theater just off of Times Square Central that she has ingeniously rigged with all the comforts of a home.... including running water and electricity.

 

Phoebe has deluded herself into thinking that she can maintain a life like this... self-sufficient, in control of her own little world...

MAL-CALI

First Born son of Ran-Zir and the beauteous Phen-La, Mal-Cali, is destined to become "God", The Ran, or at least he should be. When he is eleven years old his mother is revealed to be responsible for the death of the Ran's mistress, Ni-Lan. 

 

His life is changed when his mother is sent to "Hell" in front of him. 

PRINCESS D'ZINNE

D'zinne ReMar of the LeMarc province, will be the first "Queen" selected from La-Zon-Ri's outer territories. The weight of responsibility is heavy upon the shoulders of the princess as she is meant to represent the hopes and dreams of her people… the bridge between man and "God"...

Except that man is not necessarily "ready" for the union... and the bridge is shorter than anyone could ever know.

REDJIQUE

The cannibal, an abomination against humanity, was driven mad after an incident from his early childhood. A genetic misfit, Redjique's penchance for the consumption of live flesh results in his being sent "down" in front of the eyes of a adolescent Val-Mar...

RAN-ZIR

The Ran.

“Ran” translates virtually to “God who walks amongst man”.

PHEN-LA

She was the queen of paradise, when "God" was revealed to her as a being, all too human... and this she could not accept.
